Cayla and Ben traveled from the other side of Michigan to Grand Rapids for a fun downtown city engagement session. City engagements are some of my favorites. The historic buildings make the best backdrops. We are started our session at Riverside park in a more casual outfit and ventured into the city in a more dressy outfit. For the couples dressy outfit option, Cayla wore a short white tulle dress, paired with Ben's blue suit jacket and khaki slacks. They told me during our consultation they didn't feel comfortable in front of the camera, as most couples do not. I told they not to worry and 15 minutes in they felt comfortable and were laughing and having so much fun. This is such a great time to meet and get to know my clients and by the time the wedding day comes you will already know exactly what to do in front of the camera.
