I define a wedding photographer’s style by their visual aesthetic first. It’s the most obvious. this includes the use of lighting, color, tones, composition, and mood. Some photographers may prefer clean and minimalist compositions, while others may be drawn to more moody and dramatic styles.
LIGHT & AIRY
Light and airy wedding photography aims to capture the emotion and romance of the wedding day. the images incorporate a soft focus and whimsical atmosphere to enhance a romantic and elegant feel of the images. Photographers may use blurred backgrounds to add a sense of intimacy to the scene.
TRUE TO COLOR
The goal for true to color images is to capture images accurately and what represents the true to color scene. I would define this style as preserving the authentic and natural nature of the wedding day. Dark and moody wedding photography styles emphasize deep shadows, rich contrats, intense emotion to create cinematic and emotional images. I use this style for formal portraits, like family and wedding party, and also during couples portraits.
DOCUMENTARY WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY STYLE
Also known as candid or photojournalistic. This style captures raw unscripted moments of the wedding day. It capture real life moments exactly how they unfold without staging. Which means photographers are not guiding or asking people to redo a scenario. The focus is on the beauty of the moment. The goal of this style is to tell a story through candid and honest images that reflect the moments of the day naturally and authentically. I use this style during the getting ready moments, cocktail hour, and at the reception.
EDITORIAL STYLE
Inspired by fashion editorial wedding photography emphasizes style glamour, and sophistication. Photographers in this style pay attention to every detail, from the couples attire to the overall aesthetic and design. Photographers will often pose shots with editorial flair, showcasing the couple in an elegant and romantic way. I use this style for the flatlay images, and all the details and design of the wedding.
FINE ART WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY STYLE
Fine art wedding photography is a mix of style genres, and approaches. It includes portrait,landscape,abstract and conceptual photography. photographers will use unique compositions, lighting techniques and post processing to create stunning images. The focus is on capturing art that is emotive, beautiful, and intimate.

Every wedding is different and unique and so is our approach. We are experienced and flexible to think on on feet and make changes quickly if need to keep things flowing and on time. If something is running behind or late we will move along to the next thing and come back to what was missed. Wedding days go fast and not always does everything go according to plan. It is my job to customize a new plan quickly and effectively to ensure my couples get every photo and detailed we talked about. Obviously some things are out of my control like weather but we do everything to meet the couples desires and vision we talked about.

True to color editing is important to us because we want you day to look and feel as it ded visually in your head. We want the lush greens to look as they did, we want the colors of you lipstick colors of your bridesmaids dresses, and colors of your pretty flowers you choose to replicate that. Theres nothing worse than seeing your bridesmaids dresses that were supposed to be pink have hues of orange tones. or something other than what you choose.
