Michigan wedding at Egypt Valley Country Club

Julia and Chris’s exquisite Michigan wedding at Egypt valley country club on August 20, 2022 was a day full of emotion, love, tears, laughs, hugs and tons of fun. As a michigan wedding photographer for the past 8 + years this was a memorable and unforgettable emotional day. A few months before this beautiful michigan wedding the couple had lost someone very special to them, Chris’s brother. Chris honored his brother with his initials on his tie clip, that his father placed on his tie, and at the altar for a special moment just for him, and all their loved ones that couldn’t be there. It was apparent that although he couldn’t be there physically the spirit of all were all felt. It was a very emotional ceremony and watching many cry during this moment brought tears to all our eyes. The love Chris had for his brother and the pain and grief he still had was apparent and felt deep within all of us. Chris wiped away his tears and looked into his soon to be Brides eyes and it was like to all went away, he began to smile and feel the joy of saying I do and marrying the love of his life.

Before the ceremony though, the bride got ready in the newly designed and decorated bridal suite. The suite was elegant and bright with beautiful decor, with neutral colors and an open space for a large party. The bride enjoyed some champagne with her bridal party and got ready to head out for photos after I spent some time capturing the first look and bride and groom portraits. The couple shared a beautiful first look out near the green and exchanged gifts, and I could see some of those nervous emotions were lifted once they saw each other. After their first look we went around the beautiful golf course for some bride and groom portraits, and some wedding party photos. Julia picked different shades of blue and green tones for her bridesmaids to wear, and I love how the dresses looked together, with their white and green floral bouquets.

This Michigan wedding was beautiful and emotional. Julia’s parents walked her down the aisle to Chris awaiting her entrance. They met in front of the floral peaked arbor and met with joyful hearts. Their wedding ceremony was authentic and genuine and special to them. They exchanged vows and rings in a touching and memorable ceremony, with a bubble exit. The reception space was a elegant space filled with gold accents neutral walls, and lots of windows for some great light, and beautiful chandelier lights hanging from above which created such elegance. The tables had white and green floral vases and candles, chairs were wrapped in white cloth with gold bows. Mostly though the space was filled with lots of love from friends and family. The couple enjoyed great food, laughs and together time with everyone. They took to the dance floor where they had their first dance as husband and wife and danced the night away. What an honor to capture this amazing Michigan wedding day. Love was felt the whole day through!
